Guys, I heard from someone that AMD bulldozer FX 8170 is not far away from us. I'm looking forward to this processor, anyone know the release date? Please help! Much appreciated!
The Bulldozer FX-8170 is still a while off. Most likely Q1 2012. The models rumoured to be coming out on October 12th this year are: FX-4100 FX-6100 FX-8100 FX-8150 So if you don't want to wait till next year for the FX-8170, best thing is to get an FX-8150 and overclock it a bit.
Probably sometime mid October, that is unless AMD decides to delay it for the 10th time lol Might as well just get Sandy Bridge-E at this rate, or Ivy
