Question:

Any one? Why should the child have to pay for the sins of the father and mother?

In our religion class awhile ago we watched a video about how abortion is an American Holocaust. The narrator/interviewer was a jewish american who interviewed people about what they would do if you were a nazi who didn't want to be in the war, and your officer told you to get in a bulldozer and bury jews in a ditch alive, and if you wouldn't, he would kill you, questions like that. Then he got to abortion topics and interviewed a man and asked, do you agree with abortion? And the man replied, I can see it's ok if it was rape but other than that no, then the narrator said, why should the child pay for the sins of the father? Which brings me to my question. Adam and Eve sinned, and were denied heaven unless repenting. Why should we have to repent if we didn't eat the apple? Why would god or any god base the entire world population on 2 people?

Answer:

Interesting since the jews in occupied Palestine use remote controlled bulldozers to knock down houses in gaza and murder innocent people.
Catholicism became the (last) official religion of the Roman Empire in 380 and the first manuscript of the Latin Bible was finally completed in 384, an effort which required 59 years. Unfortunately, after the old Pangan religions were officially banned, Roman's citizens did not flock to join the Emperor's new &Universal& religion. Why would they have any need of salvation, since they considered themselves educated law-abiding citizens? In the early fifth century, Augustine of Hippo wrote a popular essay which claimed all human beings shared the blame for Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden. This was the origin of the notion that children are forever responsible for the sins of their parents -- a religious law which was finally discarded when the American and French revolutions expelled the Church from civil government. Augustine also wrote another popular essay which explained, in terms familiar to educated Roman Pagans, how Christ's promise of life after death was possible. According to Augustine, the human soul is a bit of God's own immortal essence, loaned to each human at the moment of their birth. (Changed to the moment of conception during the 20th century.) It was Augustine who devised the concept of the soul to legitimize Jesus' promise. Augustine's post-biblical essays were widely read in Rome and converted uncounted thousands of former Pagans to Roman Catholicism. For this, the nascent Church canonized Saint Augustine and made him a Church father.
Because their sins come down generation after generation and there is nothing anyone can do about it until the curse is broken. Drunks begat drunks unless the child of a drunk decides to break the curse of drunkenness in the family. Porn watchers begat porn watchers unless the child decides to break the curse of pornography in the family. Scripture tells us that there is &life in the blood.& The father's blood passes to the child at conception. The Bible is the infallible word of the Living God. Read it and learn.
No, there is no such thing. Everyone is held responsible for their own actions. “There is a difference between wrongdoing with no premeditated desire to hurt someone and intentional evil. The degrees of harm to others from mischief to malevolence are carefully evaluated. A guiding principle in the spirit world is that wrongdoing, intentional or unintentional, on the part of all souls will need to be redressed in some form in a future life. This is not considered punishment as much as an opportunity for karmic growth. There is no hell for souls, except perhaps on Earth.” Destiny of Souls - Michael Newton
Let take an exemple Tom. Suppose a pregnant woman who has a genetic illness. The baby will automaticly born with the same illness. “Through one man [Adam] sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” (Romans 5:12) Yes, all of us have inherited sin from Adam. Hence, the Bible says that he “sold” himself and his offspring into slavery to sin and death. (Romans 7:14) There was no hope for Adam or Eve because they willfully chose to disobey God. But what about their offspring, including us? Jehovah came to mankind’s rescue by means of the ransom. a ransom is the price that covers, or pays, the cost of something. It is similar to the price paid to cover the damages caused by an injury. How did Jehovah provide the ransom? He sent the one most precious to him, his only-begotten Son. (1 John 4:9, 10). How could one man serve as a ransom for many, in fact, millions of humans? Well, how did humans numbering into the millions come to be sinners in the first place? Recall that by sinning, Adam lost the precious p. 51possession of perfect human life. Hence, he could not pass it on to his offspring. Instead, he could pass on only sin and death. Jesus, whom the Bible calls “the last Adam,” had a perfect human life, and he never sinned. (1 Corinthians 15:45) In a sense, Jesus stepped into Adam’s place in order to save us. By sacrificing, or giving up, his perfect life in flawless obedience to God, Jesus paid the price for Adam’s sin. Jesus thus brought hope to Adam’s offspring.—Romans 5:19; 1 Corinthians 15:21, 22. This is what the Bible really teach.
