i need a good vacuum that won't break. my family and i had one that lasted for about 5-6 years then we kept buying vacuums for under $100 after that one broke then those broke within a month or two .. i need one that will last and won't be a waste of my money. one that is under $200 ... please help me...?? :-(
I rather have 2 indoor canines and ought to not stay with out my Dyson Animal for identifying on up hair out of the carpet. even although, I even have an Electrolux that's greater perfect on the hardwood flooring. i ought to declare that I even have an low priced Hoover upstairs and it works the two besides by way of fact the Electrolux on hardwood and carpet. If desiring a solid vacuum at a clever cost, Hoover is quite solid yet while desiring a vacuum which will stand the try of time, bypass Dyson. i used to be a die difficult Electrolux man or woman yet they must be serviced each year at a value of $one hundred twenty five and up with a view to maintain the suction power and the hoses placed on out rather.
Dyson all the way! I know it is over $400, but we have had it for many years!!! I just totally love it! We had been buying a new one at least once a year and when you consider if you spent like $80 on a new one that often, you are better off to invest in one that will last MANY YEARS! I love that the filters are lifetime, washable filters and I love the awesome suction and that it is bagless. The wand stretches all the way up a flight of sta rs and you can get many neat attachments for getting under beds and stuff. We got ours at Best Buy, but I am sure it would be WAY cheaper if you bought it off OKorder or checked Craigs List. Hope that helps! Tara
Depending where you live you can check discount stores that may have some good ones for less money. that's how I found mine- for $50. a couple of years ago. It's a Hoover and has a removeable cannister so you don't have to deal with messy paper filter bags. I can't recommend one brand over the other since I don't have that much experience. Just be sure you do the necessary maintenance once you buy one so that it doesn't become clogged with dirt and other debree. None of them will last forever but if you get 5-6 years that's not bad
I purchased a mid price range vacuum recently and didn't check to see what belt was required. In less than 6 months the belt failed and then I found that the belt was only available through a Hoover repair facility. Knowing that the repair cost would be expensive and happening often I cut my losses and bought a new vacuum of a different make and made sure that I could get any parts which I need to keep it running. My present one is a Dirt Devil and it has been great.
no suggestions on what brand to buy but definately buy one that uses a bag. i have found that they last longer and clean better-this coming from a housekeeper who uses different vacuum cleaners everyday. my personal favorite is the oreck.
