You can drive anything in the snow, its just a matter of how stable it is. The MR2 would be tricky as it is a light car. Get some really good tires and that would make it easier.
Help at a old folks home or call your cities parks and recreation facility and offer to clean parks for free. Walk around your neighborhood, pick up trash, clean up your school, etc.
