I ordered one a few days ago but it still has not arrived. On my tire in some spots are showing little white things which I have been told are wires. I‘m not sure weather or not I can still ride while the tire is like this. The entire tire isnt showing wire its just showing a little bit in a few areas, It leaks air a little bit too if I don‘t ride it for a few days. Can I still ride it for a few more days til my new tire gets here? And can someone explain to me what‘s under that wire stuff I see? Thanks.
Generally fiberglass batting. You can observe it at any Lowe's or Home Depot.

I seriously hope your just attempting humor. Whats under that wire is AIR! the wire is part of the belt of a steel belted radial. If its showing it means all of the tread is wore off and the tire should have been changed a long time ago. Since you have been tempting the fates for a while now I would probably choose NO as the answer to all of your questions about continuing to ride. I ordered a tire a couple of months ago on OKorder(free shipping) and it was at my door the next day so you shouldnt have to wait too long. Please dont ride until you replace the tire. Too many good people have been lost over bad decisions on bikes.
DON'T ride on it! That's canvas, all thats left between the air and the road. You may have been told it's wire. If it will poke a hole in your finger it is. Chances are (without being able to see it) those are only threads - where the canvas (fiber cords) are wearing out.
