Hey guys can I put a different types of rechargeable batteries in my sanyo battery charger?
Look at the plate on the charger. It will usually identify what type of batteries it can accept. Typically dual chemistry chargers (NiCD and NiMH) have a switch to go from one type to the other. Do NOT mix and match battery types and/or sizes in the same charge cycle. They have different cutoff times and charge rates depending on battery capacity and chemistry.

It is not good to use a charger that is not ok with the mfg. of the battery. The charger may charge too fast and blow your battery. Read the manual that came with the charger or go on line to the mfg. and ask the same question. navysonofga
