I recently found out I had bed bugs in my home so i took a shower and washed my body really good. didn't take any belongings with me out of my home with me and just left my house. So now I'm staying with my dad is the bugs still on my body? Did I get rid of them?

Continuing , it's hard to put an apt or house through the dryer though , So .......... go to YouTube ... search for CO2 Bedbug Trap - The Recipe ... ( by JnSavedByTheBell )... this is exactly what I did .. it worked ......... it Will tell you if they are present ..... and Also trap /kill them too ...... keep the co2 traps there until All bed bugs are caught ..... read the comments..... could look at his other related videos too ... safe , inexpensive , pr easy to do
Bed bugs are small and live in crevices and joins in the walls, furniture etc. They tend to come out at night in the dark and hone in on warm blooded creatures like humans where they suck the blood, have their fill and then go back to their hidey holes. They do not live IN your body. They do not live ON your body. They can however get transport through being in the seams of clothing, and in any other item that offers them shelter - so you really need to check each seam of every item of clothing you have taken with you. They can get in to the most smallest spaces imaginable - and very likely the whole place where you have vacated needs professional fumigating.
They could be, depends on what cloths you took.
If your clothes were clean when you put them on after your shower, you should be OK.
