I'm doing new construction on a 5'x8' bathroom and want to do all the walls in Hardiebacker. Lowe's sells 3x5 sheets and I'm wondering the best way to frame this up. Would I frame up on 16 centers and then scab in an additional stud where the sheets meet, or should I just frame this room on 12 centers and forget about it.
Try this, walk over to the smoke alarm and tap it on the side. I bet it will go off. As you are exercising, you are shaking the floor and walls enough to interupt a connection in the alarm, either the battery or some other contact. Try working out in a different place or move the smoke alarm to another room.
Some basic bandages, matches in waterproof container, dry tinder for starting fires, space blanket, compass and map, and i carry hand warmers just in case. i would carry a field guide as well.
