Danglers usually aren't going to be a problem if they fog, they hang under the face shield, to protect the neck area. So don't let that hold you back from getting one. However, I am not sure it would reach far down enough to have helped with a shot to the collarbone, though. At any rate, I would recommend a dangler to any goalie.
