Question:

best material to make plates of a cylindrical capacitor?

I am designing a cylindrical capacitor but I do not know which material to build its plates [rolled plates] from. Can anyone suggest me a good material. I am making this for a university project so aluminum foil isn't an option :). Can anyone suggest a material and post a page/website i can study why the material would be something i would choose as I need to quote it with reference.

Answer:

It is a chemical reaction called combustion.
when temperature of any body is increased, atoms of that body get excited they loose some of their atomic energy or some of mass part or chemical energy to get converted into forth stage of matter plasma . This state is heat emitting we call it as fire good luck
Aluminum foil would be the easiest and cheapest. But if you can't use it then get some thin brass or copper sheeting.
