Question:

Best new washer/dryer (front-loaders only)?

I was just looking for some recommendations for washer/dryer combinations. Let me know if you had a good/bad experience with a particular brand lately.PS: I am only looking for comments on models that are currently on the market and FRONT LOADERS only. Thanks

Answer:

we bought a front loader washer from Frigidaire and it works really good just it makes alot of noise and we had to replace the pump a couple of times, if I was you I'll go with a Whirlpool or a GE, We bought it about 2 years ago and I'm sure its the same model out on the market still so try and stay away from the Frigidaire,
Why don't you try, Electronic Appliance Answers, at your nearest BestBuy or Appliance store?
I work at an appliance store and Whirlpool is a customer favorite here, especially now that GE is recalling some of their appliances. The duets are great machines. WP just came out the the newest remake of them and they work extremely well. They are kind of expensive however.
Go with the LG or the whirlpool. The Whirlpool (WFW 9200 or 9400) are the best ones from them. The 9400 have 14 cycles and the 9200 have 11 or 12. LG Wm2487 or 2688. Have a steam wash so you can cut down on dry cleaning. All of them have 3.8-4.0. You and fit a king comforter, about 20 towels or 12 pair of jeans in them. They all use less water. 10-20 gallons. So you can do less loads and use less water per load. That's good for the water bill.
We bought a front loader 2 months ago, and we did lots of research. The LG brand had the best reviews, over all other brands, on comsumer reports and with user comments. We love our LG washer and dryer. Family members come over and want to do laundry for us.
