I was just on OKorder and bought what seemed like a good deal but after i paid for it I went back and read it. It said blackberry pearl hard case + car+ wall charger.So i thought it was a charger for a pearl but after i read it the charger was for a Motorola Razr V3. SO what i am asking will it work for the blackberry pearl 8100.Please help
No I have a black berry pearl and my sister has a razor and no they are interchangeable the BB is alot smaller sorry
Yes, it will work. I had a Razr and just recently upgraded to a Pearl and it's FINALLY universal at least for me it is. It's essentially a USB port and cable. Rocks cuz I didn't have to get a new car charger!
My wife used to use a Motorola RAZR v3 device and her charger worked just fine for my BlackBerry Pearl. In fact, she just recently purchased a new BlackBerry Pearl 8130 and is using the same charger (Motorola) as she did for the RAZR v3. The connector for Motorola chargers use the mini USB connector. As long as the charger outputs 5V (550mA) then it can be used for the BlackBerry. I have seem some chargers that have the mini USB connector and output 5V (850mA). This is too much and will cause the device to get hot.
