About two days ago I noticed that everything on my LCD monitor is blurred, fuzzy (as if you had bad vision and it's not my vision everyone else notices it as well). The monitor is not old, I bought it less than six months ago. I noticed it happened after I chose to print something. Does this have anything to do with it? How can I fix the blurred screeen?
LCD monitors can go wiggy if they get bumped hard, dropped, or it used to be if they got too hot or too coldI think technology has improved a lot since my teen years, though! Printing something would not to something to your monitor. Check the brand's website for an recalls (yours may be part of a group that had a manufacturing defect that appears after some use) and if they don't have a recalls section, contact them. It should still be under a manufacturer's year warranty.
my LCD did that before, so i turned off my computer and the screen left it alone for a while and then when i turned it back on it was fine, but im sure you have probably already tried that. . . .good luck and sorry your screens messed up
You should go to control panelappearance and themesdisplaysettings tabtroubleshoot
Is it on Microsoft programs (such as Outlook, Internet Explorer, or Word)? If so, if you recently downloaded Vista or the new IE7, that could be the problem. There is something in it that makes all of the text into a clearer view, but it actually makes it fuzzy. Turn that feature off in the IE settings. If not, and everything is fuzzy, check your connections and the settings on your monitor. You may have to set it back to the factory defaults.
LCD displays are built for a specific resolution, if you use a different resolution they will look blurry. Try changing your resolution - right click on your Windows desktop -Properties -Settings and move the Screen Resolution slider. Usually the highest possible resolution is the proper one for your LCD (move slider to the rightmost position).
