i wanna know if a 4gb ipod connector transfer songs to a 8bg ipod toch
All iPod connectors use the same type of connection and therefore work on all iPods. Of course it will.
All iPod's with dock connectors (IE: any released since the third generation) use the same cable. The only scenario where a cable might not work is if you try and use an iPod cable on an iPhone. My old iPod cable produces an error message when I connect it - and says that it isn't designed to be used with the iPhone. Other than that - you should be fine.
