Question:

can a bobcat 337 excavator lift a 40 foot long fiberglass pool?

my fiberglass pool popped out the ground and now I need to reset it. I was hoping someone could tell me if a bobcat 337 can do the job. I can't get anything bigger without doing some major work.the pool is 40x15 fiberglass poolthanks for any suggestions

Answer:

A crane would be best to raise and re-set this pool safely. A skilled crane operator can safely raise, move, and reset this pool safely with no danger of damaging fiberglass or injuring others. This pool will need to be rigged properly or it can break in half under its own weight. A bobcat might lift the pool but mobility will be a problem.
Honestly I dont know how big that machine is, but I would say possibly IF you put some kind of rolling device under the pool. I guess it could be small logs (like long fence posts) or even on 2x4's (as a skid pad so to speak).
