My immediate thought was some Anti virus software - they over use that imagery Protection of a Human, perhaps a nuclear bunker - like every Home in Switzerland has by law.
Speak to an attorney first. Dont delete the call record from your phone. Go to the Police Deaprtment and ask to speak to an Internal Affairs Investigator. If what youre saying is true, this guy needs to lose his badge ASAP. He is a disgrace. If he gets away with treating you this way, his behavior toward the next person will be worse. IA investigators always enjoy cases of such blatant disrespect of the badge and violation of oath. This officer is a bad liability to his department. Personally, I would have him suspended and under investigation within the hour. His gun and badge would be locked in my desk drawer. You are probably eligible for a protection order in your state, and civil action also.
Don't quite understand your question, the outwiring on a fire alarm system basically comprises of switches to a control panel or sounder circuit. these switches can be a manual call point (breakglass), smoke detector (optical or ionisation), beam detector, C.O. detector, or if you mention a bi-metal strip, this is what used to be inside old type heat detectors (either fixed temperature with one bi-metal strip, or rate-of-rise detector with 2 bi-metal strips. Modern heat detectors use thermistors with added electronics. You would need to be more specific as to what you are asking for in order for a correct answer.
