I have never used canned air. Besides computer fan slots and keyboard tops, can canned air be used in these particular circumstances: on pins/where carts are inserted in a gameboy color/advanced or N64, near the lens of a gamecube and on the side grill areas of a gamecube, on a motherboard of any console system? In fact, what are the limits that a can of canned air can be used for, in particular, on computers and game consoles?
There are no limits. But, it's always risky. You tend to blow dust into new areas you really don't want it to be.
I don't see why not with the possible exception of the lens assembly area. The suspension system on those could be damaged of knocked out of alignment. I find that a small soft paint brush (bristle not static creating polyester) and a vacuum cleaner can be quicker and more effective. Don
