Question:

Can I press charges in this situation?

My daughter had a verbal confrentaion with a 14-15 year old she's only 11 and the guy pushed her afterwards and fell and hit her head on the chair cause she was sitting down can we press charges or no

Answer:

Charles: you crak me up. Spell check. If you haven't figgered it out yet, why would you expect Opie to? Yes, the DA decides whether to press charges for assault, not the victim. Yes, you can also SUE someone who has caused you damage or inju
Yes call the police , no *guy* should be pushing around girls . The police will have a talk with this 15 year old boy*s parents and set him straight . If you don't do anything about this you are a coward and should be ashamed of yourself. Good luck and I hope you do the right thing.
No. You cannot Press Charges. Only the district attorney can. If you believe that this was a criminal act (assault) you can file a comp lint with the police. If the District Attorney believes a crime was committed he or she will file charges. I don't believe you have an 11 year old daughter. If you are old enough to have an 11 year old child you should already know this and how to use spell check. Not being good at typing is not the same as not knowing how to spell.
