Question:

Can i use the USB cable from my charger to transfer data?

I have am Energizer PSP charger with a USB cord. I needed to transfer some data from my Acer laptop to my PSP. Couldn't I just use the USB cord that came with the Energizer charger for that? I mean, It is a USB cable after all and its for the PSP.

Answer:

If it's just a normal USB cable where one end fits into a computer's USB port and the other end fits into the PSP's USB port(on the top of the PSP)then yes. Just hook it up and try. And if doesn't work nothing will happen. But it will work. I do it all the time. (don't forget that your PSP has to be charged and on. Also don't forget to select the optionUSB connection from the setting) Hope I helped
the psp has to have this function in it, has little to do with the cable oin most cases.
