My mother believes soul heartily, that leaving a laptop on a bed will set the whole bed and house on fire. She says this because my brother does this all the time and she flips out. I don't believe her because she always says everything is an immediate danger.
Alarms are seriesed so if one goes off, they all go off. The one in alarm or at fault should have the LED indicator lit solid. TURN OFF THE POWER TO THE ALARM SYSTEM then remove the cover from the culprit. Often the cover has a small catch that can be released with a small screwdriver. Unless the unit is truly hard wired , there will be a plug marked line, or 120 volt. you may unplug this; do not unplug the alarm line. Odds are if you blow canned air on it , Especially directed at the top side of the exposed circuit board, the problem will clear up. Detectors have a finite life, it may be time to replace/upgrade your system Good luck.
Sounds like you already have a bit? If you are looking for another D Ring snaffle take it off and with you to your store to purchasePersonally I stay away of any kind of rollers or licksespecially copperJust keep with a plain D Ring snaffle. Since she already has one take it with you for size..I've trained many National Champions and use a plain snaffle bit to keep things soft and easyWhen you start adding devices for horses to play with their bits it can get annoying
Dover's You will eventually have several bits. In general a simple D-ring or full-cheek is a good choice for starting. In my view the extra gadgets are used as an attempt to overcome poor training without effort on the part of the rider or trainer. On the other hand, there are tens of thousands of different bits that have been invented over the centuries, and some of them presumably serve very particular purposes. A bad bit in the hands of a good rider is generally better than a good bit in the hands of an unskilled rider.
