From out of state forget wireless It would be hard to find you also unless the system has some sort of bug that tells them where you are (think lowjack) If they set it up then they would know the administrater name and password on the system but still would not be able to find you . I'd say depending on the connection type if it;s a built in network device then not alot you can do. If it;'s an expansion card then I'd change it so Id get a new hardware encoded MAC address so that he could fine me
Another place that you can look for are Women's shelters. There are shelters for women and children, most for those who have left homes where there was abuse. They always need baby and women's items. They are not as accessible, organizations that are listed in your yellow pages or online in your town that help women will be able to tell you how to go about donating. The addresses for these places are not public for safety reasons. If you don't have any women's shelters call the nearest homeless shelter or mission. They likely have a network and can help you.
