Since your child is only 21/2 , and you have NOT been taking care of his teeth, you need to do what the dentist has recommended and do it soon. Then get over YOUR fear, and start working on keeping your 2year olds teeth CLEAN, so they won't have the problems again, and especially in their permanent teeth. Just as a frame of reference babies get their first teeth between 6 and 9 months.and that means in a little over a year your baby has cavities so severe they need dental work..get over yourselfbe a BETTER parent and take care of the KIDS needsand brush their teeth daily and stop giving them coke and fruit juice in a bottle and at bedtime or sugar snacks.. Those baby teeth are important and are supposed to last until they are lost (between ages 6-14) age 2 is wayyy to young to be starting problems like this. You are responsible for this.make sure it doesn't happen again. BTW: Silver fillings have been in use for over 100 years.and have a proven safe record..the white fillings do not have that kind of history.do what is recomended and just get it doneand make sure it doesn't happen again You are the parent.you can't blame the kid for this.brush their teeth and monitor what YOU feed them.
Wow, that is a sad story. A few years ago, I looked into being a caregiver with Home Instead here in NV.I believe they are a sort of franchise business, they are all run a little bit differently. They hired me straight away and sort of pressured me to have all of my paperwork in order within a few days time. i decided not to work for them as they were paying only $8.50 per hour and I had been making much more as a casino dealer or as a hairdresser. I have since looked into working for another agency because I feel I could be of serve to someone in need but can tell they do rip everyone off from staff to clients. No body enjoys knowing someone is using them. perhaps in your case, you could advertise for someone with experience and pay them out of pocket. It seems the system is set up in such a way that both caregivers and clients get the short end. I am now thinking of getting a part-time job again.I think some of the problem is that these agencies hire people such as myself that only have a fixed amount of time to give to others. For such low wages, it is hard to find people that fill all of the requierments.
Do you mean average people just walking around town? I live in New Zealand and I only see hi-vis clothing on construction sites, and they have to wear them because of health safety regulations, but they're usually just bright yellow polos or whatever, nothing too crazy. If you mean people are actually wearing them for fashion then you're right, that's totally ridiculous. At least you can dress differently and look unique.
