Question:

Can static sparks cause fire?

Last night I went to take my baby's blanket out of her crib and when I touched it, it had lots of static electricity. I could actually see the sparks of light in the dark. I didnt want to take any chances so i do not put it in her crib anymore but I'm wondering, is it possible for static sparks to cause a fire?

Answer:

Since both firemen and policemen both have badges it would be badge bunny. However, a guy at work calls them hose wranglers. Funny, huh? He said it not me I may be a badge bunny, but I don't hang around fire/police stations. To the poster above, whores are far worse than badge bunnies. Get a life!
No, a spider isn't going to mess with it. I was going to say battery, but since it's hard wired, it may be beeping to alert you about some kind of short in the power, or that its malfunctioning.
