I am thinking about buying the slingbox pro, but im not sure if i will be able to use it. Everything i have seen about the slingbox controlling a tv has something about a Cable Box, and i dont have that. I just have the cable plugged in directly into the Tv, so my question is will the Slingbox pro IR cable be able to control the Tv without the Cable Box?
I have a Slingbox Pro but can see no way for it to control a TV. It just controls boxes that you plug into it. You might be able to do if you have video/audio output from the TV. You would need to check your remote control is supported by Slingbox too.
