I have new cotton shirts that need ironing n I am worried that if I use an iron the heat from it may cause the shirt to shrink. Is it possible to iron a 100% cotton shirt that has only been washed in cold water n never been dried without shrinking it?
Yes it is but do not use the iron too hot use it on a cool setting first then you might increase the heat a little.Good luck with it.
do no longer even wash cotton shirts in warm water (it makes them decrease) dry them on a decrease dryer warmth. you may desire to dry them a splash longer than commonplace in spite of the fact that it relatively does beat having to alter all the shirts you're shrinking in the long-term I promise.
Ironing won't shrink the shirts but drying them in a hot dryer might. So wash them in cool water, air dry, and then iron.
