Can you bake a cake in cardboard?

I can't find a pan in the shape that I want and am wondering if I could make my own using cardboard and card stockI was thinking of using cardboard cut to the shape I want as the base and then using a strip of card stock with tabs glued on the base for the sidesWould putting aluminum foil on the inside help?Any other suggestions on how to do this would be helpful, or links to what other people have done kinda like this!p.s Sorry if this is a weird or stupid questionI don't do alot of out-of-the-box baking! ;P

No, but there may be other options? The oven-safe, one time use cardboard frozen entree dishes are specially manufactured to handle one trip thru the oven under 451°FA+ for ingenuity, but if your kludge did not actually burst into flame, it would still smolder and scorch and impart an odd flavour to your cake? Ask at a kitchen supply store, or craft store with a baking aisle if they have materials for DIY cake pans.
