My job is 35 miles from my house and there is no reliable public transportation to use. Therefore, the car it is. A lot of people live in the suburbs, and where I live at least, if you ride a bicycle on those roads you are taking your life in your hands. Drivers don't like people riding bicycles because they don't obey traffic laws.
