can you straighten an axle on a boat trailer?

can you straighten an axle on a boat trailer?

Answer:

you do not need an exhaust or anything you can just put the intake in it will only add bout 2 hp
if you're talking about the tube that runs from one side to the other, depending on where the bend is sometimes you can use a bottle jack to get it close to original. otherwise, like the other feller said, cheaper to replace it.
It all depends on what type of axle you are talking about. If it has the rubber dampners in it ,they come bent.
If it is a tube axle with straight ends, you may replace the tube and it should be okay. Take it to a shop with a torch and welder and they should be able to do it fairly cheaply. The tube is lightweight pipe. Good luck.
