Question:

can you use an iron instead of a steamer?

beacause I was going to steam my dolls hair but I don‘t have a stamer so I thought that I could use an iron.

Answer:

Dunlop makes motorcycle tires and car tires and truck tires. Michelin makes motorcycle tires and car tires and truck tires. Bridgestone makes motorcycle tires and car tires and truck tires. Cooper makes motorcycle tires and car tires and truck tires. Pirelli makes motorcycle tires and car tires and truck tires. etc. Metzeler makes motorcycle tires. Nothing else. Do one thing, do it right. I've run through a few tires on my Savage, the D404's did quite well. Last change I went with Metzelers. They seem more responsive. So far, so good.
dolls hair is plastic using an iron will melt it so don't use a iron
Here is how you can steam it with an iron. Wet a face cloth or dish cloth and wring it out. Then lay the doll on the ironing board and fan out her hair. Place the wet cloth OVER the hair and hold a hot iron on the wet cloth for a few seconds. That should take care of the problem. Don't forget to re-wet the cloth as needed. DO NOT press the hair without the wet cloth or you will melt the hair. Good luck
