Question:

car hit a speed bump and now i can't drive it.?

okay well i know nothing about cars, at all! so i just need help finding out what i should do with my car.i was driving out of my apartment today and i hit a speed bump, and i was going pretty fast. so then i went to make a left and my car started shaking and the top right side is wobbling when i go faster. when i hit the gas there is a really loud clicking noise. i can't go faster than 10 mph. so i can't drive and i work tomorrow. so what should i do and what do you think is wrong? oh and i drive a 1994 chevy beretta. thanks!!

Answer:

I don't have any but I think they are great, albeit most people still speed through regardless if there are bumps or not. My only concern right now is getting the darn soccer moms to actually stop at the stop signs, everyday the same two women run the stop signs and force me into defensive driving while taking my son to school. They don't even wave or look regretful and obviously they don't care as it happens every time.
I have mixed feelings about them. They do slow people down but they also mess up with the alignment on your vehicle.. I've also seen people drive faster between each speed bump than without. Parents just need to keep a better eye on their children and give them rules and guidlines to obey and then speed bumps wouldn't be required. My oldest son has three daughters (one at age 10 and twins at age 12) and they are not allowed to play in front of the house, because of the traffic, without parental supervision. They play in the backyard only.
The use of speed bumps can be effective in slowing down automobiles, but whether it's warranted in an area where children are is another matter. There are speed bumps on roads next to a local school and I find them good to not only slow me down, but to make me think about being more cautious when driving.
get some rainex to put on the outside and get some no fog for the inside
Two thumbs up. I don't have kids, but I completely agree with them in areas where people statistically drive too fast.
