Would a ceramic mug contain lead? I‘m not familiar with any of the ceramic process and I want to buy lead free coffee mugs.
I think they are lead free these days. I believe it is against the law to sell leaded items in the US these days
Hi, my husband is a ceramic engineer and worked with Corelle by Corning (now by World Kitchen) for many years. Rest assured that there is no lead in any ceramic coffee mug made in the USA. Coffee mugs made elsewhere, I can say for sure. But most countries have banned lead many, many years ago. China seems to be the only country having trouble with the concept of lead poisoning. Go and buy the next pretty mug you see.
