i need a new straightener and my friend suggested a ceramic one because it wont burn my hairis that true? has anyone ever used a ceramic straightener? if yes did u like it? what brands do u guys who have used them suggest? i was already looking at Sedu ones and Solia but they are so expensive and would like to find one that doesnt cost quite so much.i currently use the gold plated one from walmart (it was a gift from my little sister)speaking of walmart on their website they have ceramic straighteners for under $100.are those any good? i want my hair to be really shiny and healthy because i use alot of products not to get it that way cuz my cheap a** straightener dries out my hair :( so i want to not have to use a million products.thanks in advance
look sweetie, ceramic or not- it will eventually burn ur hair if u abuse the use of an iron or any other heat activated tool for ur hair. the only difference is that the ceramic irons will leave ur hair alot smoother and shinier than a regular flat iron. price isn't the matter- it's quality. good ones are by : pro tools, hot tools, baby liss pro, and chi.
yes ceramic will hurt your hair less then the metal ones it will damage your hair still but not as much as the metal one. the ceramic works for smoother hair and less frizz and less damage i have one i dont use it much but its well worth the price it was over $140.00 i suggest you go to a hair salon or a beauty supply store to get one but no walgreens or walmart ones b/c they are cheap but youll spend more buying 2-3 a year than what one expensive one will be. CHI is a good brand
Chis are good, but my parents wont buy me one at this moment. I have one from walmart and it works perfect I think it was 20-30 dollars. I dono since my mom bought it. It doesnt really matter what price it is. The quality is what matters. I had one from Target last year, but there was a short in it so it stopped working. Otherwise, i would have never bought another. They have conair products and things like that at walmart. I would only reccomend that people who have out of control curly hair invest in a chi because they streighten much better than the walmart ones.
