Hi all I'm on a tight budget for my wedding now chair covers look lovely if I don't have them would u think a wedding was cheap an nasty without them? Or should I just get them?
it depends on the chairs. if they are ugly material and color I'd definitely go for the chair covers, but if they are those newer chairs that are slightly fancier than no need for chair covers.
hey look ,they were too cheap to rent chair cover! ....i mean really is anyone ever going to notice? the guys won't that is for sure,so 1/2 of your guests are unconcerned already
Absolutely unnecessary. I looked at using them - I also loved the look - but that money can be spent SO much better elsewhere. Seriously. People won't even really notice what the chairs look like.
Chair covers are a good starting point for making cuts to the budget. They're really not necessary, and I would venture to say they are more often tackier than the chair itself! People don't notice or care what the chairs look like.
Will the wedding look cheap with out them? Yes - sort of - it depends on the chairs. If its those plastic chairs with the metal legs (classroom chairs) yes it did look very cheap at a wedding I attended. If its any other chair, it doesn't matter. I had them at my wedding. It was $5 per chair cover hire and $2 for the coloured sash. It all adds up. But it did make them look beautiful. If you can afford it. Go ahead. If its going to blow your budget. Save your money.
