Question:

Changing fuel filter on 98 chevy k1500?

I was about to change the fuel filter on my truck and it looks preaty strate forward looks like the filter has pipe fittings on it. just wanted to make sher that I did not mess this up before I startedthe filter is lower than the tank is that a issue or would the pump some how stop the gas from going down with gravity (cause that would suck if all the gas came out)should I put some teflone tape or somthing on the fittings wen I put it back in so it does not leakI already depressurized the system by disconnecting the fuel pump relay while it was running

Answer:

I'd buy a 'beater' car for $1000-1500 and drive it in winter. Keep the Benz at home.
It's a plug-in app for a aftermarket 'ejection seat' for that blind date gone wrong.
Using the chains when the road conditions are not appropriate can damage the roadway, the chains AND the tires. Either, you will have to install and remove them as needed, or you should purchase studded snow tires for the seasonal use, as suggested.
