I have a pampered chef cookie press that does not cut the shaped dough after I pull the trigger twice. Why does the dough stay stuck at the end instead of popping out and what can I do?
LOL. Using a cookie press is a two-handed operation. I grew up on, and still use, a manual cookie press. You probably need that third trigger shot. The dough needs to make contact with the cookie sheet. You sort of feel it with the hand opposite of your cookie press hand. Temperature also plays in the equation. If the dough is too cold, it will not stick on the cookie sheet. Good luckl.
