Sorry to be so late with this, but.. A carbon dioxide extinguisher is the best for electrical fires, and a dry chemical one would be the next best. Dry chemical extinguishers usually ruin electronics, but generally the main concern is to put the fire out. Whatever gets damaged in the process is subsequently replaced.

The other person rips the door off of a burning car to save a little girl from certain death. He wears no protective gear while doing it. He just prays and does it. One of these people can't wear enough protection to live, while the other one is suited perfectly to survive.
