There are tire shine compounds that use lamp black, or carbon to put a black gloss shine, and in my opinion those are dangerous too. the coating hardens the surface. Do not use Armor All either on the seats or on the tires. You may try washing and cleaning the tires, that would be fine, especially when the tires are new, to remove the mold release compound on the tire. No one knows what repeated applications of silicones and plasticizers will do to a bike, as it has not been tested. Why? Professionals know better than to try it. So use Armor-All on your wifes interior upholstery, not the bike.
