what this is, i had spark plugs changed about 2 mos ago because it seems the car is like backfiring, the mechanic told me to buy an injector cleaner 44k i put in twice it seemed to get better.Need assistance, please advise, thank you.Jackson of Florida
Is there a check engine light on the dash? Where did it fail HC, Co, or Nox Is it still backfiring? I need a little more info to help you
so why not try it again maybe have you changed out the fuel filter air filters injector cleaner should be used two or three times a yrs. really without a test being done theirs too many things it could be or might be try the fuel filter thats a twice a yr thing
Absolutely. It all depends on how creative you want to be and how much you want to spend. If it were me, I'd use some sheet metal to construct the shield to help isolate the engine compartment air, and I'd order up some silicone inlet unions/clamps (you can get those online), and either go with 3 inlet tubing or with some rigid plastic tubing if I were cheaping out. From there, you need to measure, measure, measure some more, then do your tubing cutting. I've seen effective CAI's made from flexible metal vent tubing, from ABS plastic piping, and from spare 4 metal exhaust line that somebody meticulously welded to the shape he needed.
