Iam using Nokia 3110C mobile phone and i have recently bought USB Data Cable (DKE-2) and i have transfered many music files to my Mobile and many photos to my PCbut now when i connect usb data cable to my Mobile to Pc a message appears as CANNOT INSTALL HARDWARE.A FATAL ERROR OCCURRED DURING INSTAAL many times i have re attached Data Cable, Restarted Pc and even Restareted my Mobile.but the same problem repeats.when i select Standard Nokia Mode on my mobile this problem occurs but when i select Data Storage other modes this problem is not occuring.and can u pls solve my problem and what should i do to solve this problem.pls help

Sounds like you may have the wrong drivers installed for using the data connection part of your phone. Windows will see the device in different ways depending on what you select. When I choose mass storage mode, it pops up as a removable drive, and I can copy photos music also. If I select data modem mode, I have to install compeletely different drivers because now it thinks my phone is an external modem to dial up to the internet. If you're getting an error at this point, first is this want you want to do? dial up to the internet? if not, don't worry about it and use mass storage mode. If it is, you'll have to find the right nokia drivers for your OS, (XP, Vista, 32bit or 64bit maybe). There may also be additional charges for phone as modem use.
try right here steps a million. uninstall the computer suite. 2. reinstall the suite. 3. connect the files cable and computer and telephone. the fone will ask the relationship mode, choose nokia suite mode installation will take a jiffy and your fone should be put in. again if there is any issue, you should examine the suite compatibility, and decide nicely matched suite on your fone, and set up. if the problem persists pls revert.
