Would DC Or AC Motor Charge Lithium Battries? if it does How? if it doesn't Why??
DC motor only.If it is a magnetic Motor ,If it spin ,will act like a DC Generator produce DC in out put.It can charge your Lithium Batteries.
Either motor can become a generator, so they both can supply power to an external load. You need to use some kind of rectifier and charge controller between the generator and the battery.
