Question:

Did you know that you should test fire extinguishers?

I didn't. A little fire broke out on my stove. I went for my handy dandy fire extinguisher and had to stop to read the directions and then when I figured it out the fire got a little bit bigger. Then the thing just sputtered. It did nothing. I ended up just throwing flour at it. Fire out, house safe. What is the point of these things?? And are there good verses bad fire extinguishers? I need to know this stuff. What if the flour didn't work? We have some fire damage. I need a new stove and the wall behind it is just trashed. Not to mention how the house smells. I was just glad that I could put it out. I thought I was doing the right thing by having an extinguisher on hand. We have them all over the house. Garage, by the kids bedrooms and attic. I thought I did every thing I should do.

Answer:

Yes insulation is on my mind since I nearly froze last winter. But alas my monies have to go to a new guttering system and radon mitigation system. I hope to add extra insulation sometime in September or October. I used plastic last year and put foam in the outlets and I will try to find every air leak I can to caulk before the weather turns. So yes it is a good time.
hm.well for once no second why not use school time for homework, so you will get a reasonable job and won't become welfare sucker
I looked up insolation on dictionary dot COM. No such thing.
Insulation was put in our house when we had siding put on the house with insultation between it and the wooden part of the house. I will see how much our air conditioning cost is when I get the electric bill.
