i m doing an experiment to calculate overall heat transer coffecient of shell and tube heat exchanger in counter and parallel flow pattrens. i need to know which flow pattren will give greater log mean temperature and which will give greater overall heat transfer coefficient.from my calculations counter gives more log mean temperature and less heat transfer coefficient. i want to know is this right ?? plz help
