Question:

Do different LCD monitors need different power cables?

I don't know what kin d of power cord i would need in order to make it work. I thought all monitors needed the same power cable, but im not sure.

Answer:

Most equipment uses the IEC plug on the monitor end and the particular power plug your country uses for the other end. Your monitor handles all the international voltages, so you can be sure it will work anywhere.
That one uses a standard plug to the wall. Same type that computers use. Some LCDs need ac adaptors though so they have a special external box then usually the normal power cable with the ground.
You will need a normal Computer Power cable. files.sandberg.it/products/images... look at the back of your computer, and see the cable that plugs into the mains. You will need the very same cable.
