Do i need a cpacitor for my system? or need to get different hook ups?

I have sony 6x9‘s and 6 1/2 for speakers which are hooked up to the amp that came with the car. i also have 2 12‘ Infinty‘s with a rockford 8 gauge amp kit and p-400 amp. the dealer i got them installed at said i do not need one but my speedometer lights go off and on when they want?? need a little help please!? thanks

Sounds like you just need to upgrade to a better car battery. Make sure you get a good one tho because if you get a cheap one your lights will still dim.
that system shouldnt be drawing enough current to effect lights and gauges like that, you should get your alternator and electrical system checked out to make sure its performing as it should
Additives are for suckers. Additives usually require gallons to make a difference to a full tank of gas. For example the octane boosters an .1 octane. People usually miss read and think its 1 per bottle. You could pour a gallon of toluene in and that would help but its $17 a gallon. Save your money additives are for suckers.really.
go to Autozone or Advance Auto. they will test your battery and alternator for free. but it sounds to me like you may have a loose wire connection going to the speedometer, because if it were draining your battery you would first notice the headlights going dim. my girlfriends Explorers light went out and it was a fuse under the hood. try getting your arm under the dash with a flashlight and wiggle the bundles of wires. have a friend watching the speedo and make sure it's dark so you can see if they come on.
