I know this may sound like a silly question.....My walls are caramel, almost look like a light taupe and the curtains I just purchased are tan. I wanted chocolate but these particular curtains are the best I can find to block out light/heat from the windows. The wall color and the curtains are neutral but I keep looking at it and still wonder. Call me crazy!Thanks

I would buy chocolate ones....not the tan ones. Or use an accent color.
no, you should definitely find a chocolate one. you can use tan as an accent color, but against the caramel walls, it will just look washed out or bland.
It sounds pretty blah. Get a brighter color and some throw pillows and accessories to match. My house was all beige, tan, off white and white and I started to get depressed looking at it. Go crazy-get some color.
