and do i have to turn off the power of smoke detectors before changing them?thanks
I guess I would have never thought one could be to sensitive, but it sounds like you do have one. I guess I would get another one too, and put this one in a basement, or attic, maybe somewhere it will not pick up on a little smoke..
penetrating oil and a large hammer works usually, also if you know somebody with a press take the axles out, that would be the best ticket.
i always used a drift or punch and knock them out then i take the new ones and start them and use a lug nut to draw them in.
Get a bigger hammer. 8lb sledge should take care of it.
