I have a container garden that I would like to improve somehow with some cool ideas. I cannot have a real garden because I live in an apartment.
I can pretty much only container garden since our house is a rental (plus I have a four month old baby...no energy/time). Here are some pictures of the new summer planters I just did a few weeks ago. It's a west-facing exposure that bakes pretty well in warm weather. Come fall I'll replace this scheme with pansies/violas and mums. If you put a trellis or netting on your railing you could probably grow clematis or some annual vines in big pots too.
