I found it today. I got the flower and its pot on Mother's Day. The white stuff feels kinda like styrofoam but i can break it pretty easily by pinching it.Then is becomes white dust. What is it and should i remove it from the pot?

Do they have garden stores? Or flower shops? Even walmart would sell vermiculite.
