Next time don't park in the fire zone. The fire department and ambulances need it in the event of an emergency. You knew perfectly well you didn't belong there. Consider your fine the laziness tax. Take your lumps like a man.
You're lucky it's only $250. You could have been charged a lot more had there been a fire and your car was in the way of an emergency vehicle. Hire an attorney and watch it cost you a lot more than $250. Pay the fine and don't park by fire hydrants and in fire zones any more. In my city, they tow the car AND assess a fine.

At night? so I suppose it's when you sleep. If that is so, I find it quite normal since your mouth is shut for 8 hours or so, and your probably sleeping with your hand under your face, which keeps your face/jaw in a certain position. However, if you do have concerns, go to a doctor.
