does ALUMINIUM wreck your fridge?
install a ridge vent local hardware carries the vent pieces
My opinion is to install a thermalcally controlled attic fan for your gable ventThere is a turn on thermostat that will automatically turn on when your attic temperature exceeds a certain temperatureI believe that gable fan is stronger and exhausts hot air quicker thus removing the heat from the attic and not heat your house.
I totally agree with the fan set up with a thermostat blowing out your gable or any other outlet in your atticOne on each end of your attic is bestAlso you have to consider that your central a/c unit is designed to provide only a 15 degree temperature dropIn other words, if it's 93 degrees outside, your house should only cool down to 78 degreesEven if you set your thermostat to 60 it will only drop 15 degrees from whatever it is outside It's usually 15 degreesSome only drop 12 degrees and some drop 18 degreesVery important to change your filter regularlyGood luck!
If you leave a can in the fridge leave it on a plate as the can may leave rings that are hard to shiftAlso if you open a can , it is better to empty it into another container as the aluminium may oxidise and spoil the food but apart from that Cans in the fridge do not harm the workings.
